About Me

I've always been drawn to storytelling ever since I was a kid. I believe an image can tell a story just as well as words. I am an aspiring visual artist with focuses in filmmaking, photography, and creative writing. I am always looking for opportunities to make something and learn more about myself and my craft in the process.

Experience
I am currently pursuing my degree in Media and Communications Studies with minors in both film studies and digital studies at Ursinus College. During my time at university, I have taken many courses in photography, video production, media studies, and film. Through these courses, I have gained experience in Adobe Photoshop as well as Adobe Premier Pro.
I have had multiple pieces published in my school's literary magazine The Lantern. I have worked three videography jobs for the local community at my college, where I had filmed and edited together promotional materials for community events. I am currently interning at Expressway Cinema Rentals in Philadelphia, where I work hands-on with quality-checking and troubleshooting industry-standard cinema cameras.
A Memory of a Memory - Summer Fellows Documentary

The summer of my junior year, I participated in my school's summer research program to make a short documentary about my family's personal experiences with Alzheimer's. It was a personal project that served as a testament to my grandfather's battle with the disease. I wrote, produced, filmed, and edited the film independently over the summer with a screening of it at the conclusion of the program. I was accepted into the FAMU program with my documentary as my application submission.

Unfinished Business - FAMU International Short Film
My junior year, I traveled to Prague, the Czech Republic, where I studied film at The Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU)—one of the best film schools in the world—for my spring semester. Here, I learned essential skills and gained valuable experiences in filmmaking within my curriculum. I worked on multiple film sets, and was the Director of Photography for my group's short film Unfinished Business. I was able to have hands-on opportunities in cinematography with shooting in Super 16mm on an ARRI Flex 416. I furthermore gained training in the areas of pitching, screenwriting, directing, editing, acting, color grading, sound recording, gaffing, storyboarding, location and talent scouting all throughout my program.
